Have an Ezthlitofett!
Col-Erase on tracing paper, drawn over a sketchbook drawing with some silhouette / proportion issues. I found some incredible Kung Fu Panda production art yesterday and felt inspired to work on my fantasy characters again.
Ezthlitofett (es'THLEE-toh'fett) is another cherished personal character. He's been around since eighth grade, making him roughly the same age, creation-wise, as my core Brainsick cast.
His inspirations were Joseph Merrick ("The Elephant Man"), Samurai Jack, and Auron (FFX).

OH THE CONFORMITY
I'm not really sad; social networking is vital these days. Hurm.
BY THE WAY, I finally updated Art of Brainsick! Have a look-see here.

Hunt Globe 513EF Bowl-Pointed nib for skin and boot outlines

Costumed Figure Drawing: Week 6 final preparations!
^ These first three photos show my sketchbook study / final sketch layout. I used drawn plumb lines to translate the study's proportions onto the final piece.
^ Next four photos show progress shots of my inking.
^ Photoshop composites, just for fun. Auto-Align and Auto-Blend are indispensable tools.
^ The result of the photomontage; obviously skewed, but decent.
^ Full-body photograph with camera shading intact.
^ Cleaned up photographed lineart! The blotches on the inside of Chestan's coat are personal reminders of where I would need to use solid black.
