Five pages drawn Sunday, March 11. Although I labeled them 1 - 3, I draw on both sides of the page in my study sketchbooks.

I really missed updating my blog. Recent work will eventually make it to my website, which is going to update as soon as possible.

Ro's Birthday Card!

Last year, Ro and I had talked about how cute cats would be if they had owl faces; thus the kitty-owl for her birthday card.

As with Grace's birthday card, I used a Rapidograph pen filled with Dioxazine Purple acrylic ink to outline the drawing. I added color with Derwent Inktense watersoluble ink pencils (one of my favorite mediums).

For want of an image manipulation program on my laptop again, I downloaded GIMP. It's similar to Photoshop, yet entirely free.
