Last year, Ro and I had talked about how cute cats would be if they had owl faces; thus the kitty-owl for her birthday card.
As with Grace's birthday card, I used a Rapidograph pen filled with Dioxazine Purple acrylic ink to outline the drawing. I added color with Derwent Inktense watersoluble ink pencils (one of my favorite mediums).
For want of an image manipulation program on my laptop again, I downloaded GIMP. It's similar to Photoshop, yet entirely free.
